Eva Lundsager

Eva Lundsager was born in Buffalo, New York and lives and works in St. Louis, Missouri. Lundsager’s lush canvases and works on paper mine the rich territory between abstraction and landscape. Lundsager explores the physical process of painting through the use of thins veils of color juxtaposed with tightly curled brushstrokes to create a controlled chaos in her dynamic and vigorously painted canvases. Regency Arts Press Ltd. published her artist’s book titled Ascendosphere in 2009. Lundsager’s work can be found in collections such as the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, TX and the St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis, MO.
